How do you save favorited clips to a new folder.

Hi, I started a project, reviewed and favorited all the clips but want to send it to a editor who uses Premier to finish it. Is there a way to select the clips and duplicate them into another folder to share with him?

But I am looking for a third option. leave the clips where they are instead of making a copy of the video clips. Auto import new files So not sure if this is even possible but I am looking to switch from Premiere Pro to Final Cut. One thing that makes my workflow much easier is that in premiere if I add a new clip to the folder it auto updates and is instantly in the project media for the media browser to bring into the timeline. This is because my editing requires me to listen to a audio track and search through stock footage that matches what is being said, download it and quickly put it in the timeline as I edit through the project. Is there a way for the project files in Final Cut to auto import new clips in the downloaded folder or would I need to each time go back to import the media for every clip I download? I have not tried this just trying to see if possible as I did try Da Vinci and had to import each clip. Thanks!

Make new library with only the clips used in the timeline Can I create a new library and move my project and media to it but inly taking the clips that are used in the timeline and noting else?

First, there are no folders in FCP that hold clips, there are events. You can simply switch the browser to show Favorites only and option drag the selected items into a new event. You can make a smart collection for favorites. The only way I can think of to actually get him the media is to export the files. If you've made the browser show favorites you can can then batch export the selections for them to work with.
