iPod Touch (6th generation) upgrade for iOS 13?

iPod Touch 6th gen is only one version from latest 7 gen, will Apple come out with iOS 13 version that includes the 6th gen iPod Touch? I just upgraded my 2nd gen iPad Pro to iOS 13 not realizing my iPod Touch would not get the upgrade & now I lost my reminders on my iPod Touch which I rely heavily on as my mobile device I carry everywhere...
