Sorry, you cannot.
AirPods do not have a GPS chip, nor any way to report their location even if they had one if they are not within reach of the paired iPhone.
If you lost them miles from where you currently are, there's no way to track them.
The most you can get is the last location where they were connected to a paired iPhone, iPad or Mac.
