How do I hide the menu at the top of my Powerpoint presentation?

Keeping top menu visible at all times in all apps I've been going round and round with this for years. Is there some way to make the top line menu visible in all apps without the annoying mouse move to reveal it? Please do not direct me to the General Settings page. I have always had it unchecked.

permanently hide the menu bar Is it possible to permanently hide the menu bar? I'd like to make it disappear completely, not just auto-hide. Thanks!
