Macbook Air shows up in option when hitting speaker phone on a call

iPhone 8, latest updates

1) Apple call support has gotten REALLY bad lately...so I figured I'd ask the community

2) When talking on the phone, I seem to have an option of iPhone, Speaker, and MacBook Air. My Bluetooth is turned OFF on the iPhone and OFF on my MacBook Air....yet...there it is...an option when I click the audio button while on a call.

Things i've tried:

1) I've chosen to "forget" the device from both apple devices.

2) Hard reset

3) Call apple support - fail.

Trying to not have to test Restore files.

How do I fix this so that my MacBook air does not show up as audio switching option?

iPhone XS

ANSWER:

On your mac device (not your iphone) turn off the ability for you phone number to receive FaceTime calls or turn OFF FaecTime.

Turn off or restart your phone

Test (make a call check speaker, worked for me)
