How to connect to Beats Pill With iMac

This is not a question, this is a solution to this question.

Make sure nothing is connected to the beats pill, then pair with make by going to settings->Bluetooth.

Select beats pill then make sure you connect. Then go to Sound in the setting menu, and select beats pill.

Do "Beats Studio3" work with OS X El Capitan? I've been trying and trying to connect my beats to my Early 2015 MacBook Air (13-inch with 10.11.6), but for some reason they won't show up. Another weird thing, (maybe a coincidence), when I turn the Beats on the bar at the top shows it might recognize something by spinning the loading wheel but a minute later nothing is popping up. Anyways, all I need to know is if my version of beats will connect to my mac. Anyone know?

Beats flex won't connect to iMac running on Catalina 10.15.7 New Beats Flex won't connect to imac (27 inch, Late 2013) running Mac OS Catalina Version 10.15.7. It connected before the update. It sees it but cant make the final connection. I reset the Beats Flex. I removed ("Forget Device") from any other device (like iphone and ipads) . Please help.

question about speaker to connect to imac (late 2015) I have a trial version of Apple Music. I find that the sound quality is better using the imac's speaker vs a Bose Soundtouch 10 connected to the imac via the headset jack. Is the sound quality using the imac's speaker going to be better than connecting an external speaker to the imac? Is there some way to connect external speakers to the imac via a hardwired connection that supports Apple's lossless music format?
