Calendar sync

I'm having trouble syncing my calendar from my iPhone to my iMac. I have followed several instructions online with no avail. I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions?

I went to iCloud in preferences both the iCloud and the calendar are checked. The iCloud toggle and calendar toggle on the iPhone are both checked. I even went as far as to back up the iPhone to iCloud to see if that helped. I am using the calendar that comes with the iPhone and iMac. I have manually synced the phone with the computer in iTunes too. still no luck..

On your Calendar app on each device you may be looking at different calendars. The calendar app on all devices can support many different calendars, for example on my Calendar app I have My tasks calendar, Alaska Airlines calendar, my wife's calendar, holidays calendar, etc.. A common error is you may have your iPhone on one calendar and the iMac on a separate calendar, therefore they don't appear to sync. That is what I meant by checking each devices calendar.

Do you have iCloud turned activated on both the iPhone and iMac? Also, have you verified the calendar is the same calendar on both devices that you are looking at?
