Hi - preparing backup has been going on for 2 1/2 hours - is this OK?

Should I continue to wait or what should I do? I would like to back-up

Backup take so long I’m making backup for all the day and it’s taking very long time almost full day but not yet finished and the remaining time is not changing however it’s increasing. Is that normal?
