Well, that looks like either the cable isn't connecting properly (some loose wire somewhere, making and breaking contact), or something is wrong with the socket on your Mac. Try a different physical port on your Mac.

Also, go to System profiler (click on the Apple in the left top corner whilst holding the option key and select "System Information" and in System information select the port your iRig is connected to (USB 3 or Thunderbolt) and see if it is listed there. If it has disappeared from the Sound panel, it should also have disappeared from the System Profiler.

Hmmmm.... try harder?

I mean, like try harder to explain what you have done exactly, what you expected from that what you did and how you concluded that it is not working? I mean, have you plugged it in correctly? Have you turned it on correctly? Have you installed whatever needs to be installed correctly? Have you checked that your system is compatible? Have you looked in your Audio prefs in Logic and selected it? Have you checked in Audio MIDI Setup utility?

I mean, what do you know, and what do you not know? Because we cannot look in some crystal ball and magically see what you have done wrong. You have to give a bit more information.

I don't understand "remember". You never said that to begin with, just that it also wasn't seen by Adobe (which is not a software, but just a brand - makers of Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom, Audition and a plethora of other softwares that not necessarily work with audio) I asked you if it turns up in Audio MIDI Setup, so I guess the answer to that is "no"? "...the interface doesn't appear in the mac system".

So you connect it with the same cable to your iPhone and then it works? Have you tried all/any other port on your Mac? Are you quite sure you do not need to install anything when using it with OS X? It may only be

"plug 'n play" with the iPhone, perhaps not with Mac OS. If those two options don't change anything, I'd say you need to contact IK Multimedia and ask them (or their users on their user forum, if they have that).

Ah, only now I see you have posted screenshots and more info. Will answer those now too.
