country code x0 [wifi 802.11d problems]

I'm experiencing and I've read that conflicting country codes foment havoc for network homeostasis. Apple suggests sniffing out the offending routers and reading them the patriot act. But I'm in a location where international borders are dubious and unenforceable, there are over 50 networks, and most or all are behind moats with dragons. Anything else that can be done to ease the conflicts and disruptions this problem presents?

Unsupported location message on sky sports app video’s When trying to play video’s on the sky sports app I am receiving the message “Unsupported location”. My region on the iPad is United Kingdom. Is this a problem with the iPad or the Sky Sports App. The Wi-Fi router has not been moved.

Location services: This is a bit odd... I'm going to ask this question here, because someone may have come across this before or has an understanding of some of the system settings I've completely missed... I subscribe to a VPN with a dedicated IP address from the UK which seems to work well and there are no issues accessing websites anywhere, except one, and that's apple.com. For some reason, when I that website, I get a banner across the top asking if I want to change my location to Chile, as per the image below: This happens with the VPN active, with or without using the dedicated IP address, on my iPhone, Mac and Windows Surface Pro machines, on both the wired or wireless networks I've got at home and on all browsers. When I disable the VPN and access the same wedsite, I get the same banner, but with the United Kingdom option, which I can select and continue browsing without issue, but when I re-enable the VPN, it reverts to Chile. I will raise this with the VPN provider because I think this is definitely a problem their end, but I was just wondering if I've missed something. Thank you.
