Because of this transition from 32-bit to 64-bit, I keep getting a notice that my "LOGIN server" needs to be updated. However, I don't find an app called LOGINserver or anything remotely similar. What is this and how can it be updated?

Catalina is reportedly available today, so you’ll soon see upgrade notices for that.
I’ve had a few bugs fixed in Brother printers with updated drivers, and updated firmware.

I’ve had a few bugs fixed in Brother printers with updated drivers, and updated firmware.
Check the Brother web site for printer driver and related software updates, prior to upgrading to Catalina. High Sierra won’t have any issues with continuing to run 32-bit software, nor Mojave. That limit starts with Catalina.
