Why maps turn-by-turn navigation is not available any more in Cyprus?

I try this but is not working.
Apple maps doesn’t support turn-by-turn navigation to Cyprus now.
Before few months it was working perfectly.
I use google maps know but I don’t understand the reason for this problem.
Turn-by-turn navigation in Cyprus was never supported from what i remember.
The feature that is missing in Cyprus now is Directions which was available before. I am also very frustrated about this. Anyone who knows why the feature was removed please share.

Could be that the maps aren't accurate enough for Cyprus for now, or that the Cyprus government has requested this feature not be enabled in this country.
