ipados 13 keyboard not working

Sometimes the keyboard on my iPad suddenly stops working. It works for a while and then when I go back to google chrome to search for something (It may be chrome that is the problem) then the keyboard doesn't work. It is very annoying having to restart my iPad all the time. I only had this problem after updating to iPadOS 13.

Hello,

Try resetting iPad's settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Be certain you do not select Erase All Content and Settings as this will erase all of your information. It is a good idea to perform a backup of your iPad prior to resetting its settings.

Explain what you mean by the keyboard doesn’t work. Does the keyboard pop up? Does it pop up but the keys don’t respond?

I don't want to do this, is there any other way? I don't want to risk deleting my valuable stuff on my iPad storage. (I have rare files on it)

if you have rare files on your device, you better backup or transfer those rare files to a computer, if in fact they are that valuable.
