Facebook messenger

Just got a new iPad (7th gen). Facebook working fine but I can’t get into messenger. I can see I have new messages but when I tap the icon I get taken back to home page and out of Facebook.

Facebook messenger not working in ios 17 Updated my iPhone 12 mini to iOS 17 yesterday, and now Facebook Messenger will not open. I have tried deleting both Facebook and Facebook Messenger and re-installing but Messenger still will not open.

Facebook Messenger I have been trying to get Facebook messenger working on my iPad Pro. It just loads the screen but blank with a spinning wheel. As ever no help from facebook support but have had great help on here. I have uninstalled facebook and messenger, restarted the iPad then re-installed them. Still the same issue. iPad is running latest iOS and obviously facebook and messenger are also up to date. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'd suggest deleting the app and then re-installing it. If that doesn't help, contact FaceBook support.
