Missing home bar
My home bar at the bottom of the screen is missing and I have no way to navigate to the home screen or to other apps. Why is this happening and what do I do to get it back?

If I'm understanding correctly, the bottom row of icons is not appearing on your iPhone .I will be glad to assist.
Let's first see if a restart resolves this:

Next, try resetting the home screen layout:

"Reset the Home screen and apps to their original layout
- Go to Settings
> General > Reset. - Tap Reset Home Screen Layout. Any folders you’ve created are removed, and apps you’ve downloaded are alphabetically ordered after apps that came with your iPhone."
