Email problem after updating to ios 13.1.2

After update, email doesn’t retrieve new incoming email when I open inbox. It shows the message “checking incoming email” but it continues to check without showing. It only shows new email at night. Does anyone have solution to this issue? I use gmail

I have the same issue here after updating to 13.1.2. I am using Office365.

Mail app will not update emails automatically or by pulling down. Randomly it will decide to update and a flood of emails will come in.

I have a similar problem. After I updated to IOS 13.1.2 all of my emails from my inbox disappeared (but only for my hotmail account, and not for my Outlook Exchange account i use for work). I changed my setting so there was no limits as to how far back it would download from and that brought back I number of emails from early 2019, nothing from 2018, and a number from 2017. If I log in on my macbook, there are only emails from 2106 back. When I look in the Deleted Items folder the emails are there but I have to go manually through the folder to find them. I most definitely did not delete these emails!!!!!

HOLY CRAP! To quote Winston Churchill - "Never have so many done, so much, for so little"

I seem to have "tamed" it for now. Taking some advice from some comrades-in-arms, I deleted all the mail accounts from my iPad Pro and my iPhone 11Pro. I then deleted the mail app on both these devices. I started by installing my default gmail account FIRST as I discovered that it seemed to default to my .Mac account each time. Installing my iCloud account last, ensured that my gmail account remained the default address, when creating new emails.

WOW APPLE, YOU REALLY SCREWED UP THIS TIME

I'm having exactly the same problem. All Inboxes isn't refreshing unless I manually open each individual mailbox. Once I open them manually, the new mail shows up in All Inboxes, but I have to repeat the steps every time I open mail. Makes the All Inboxes feature pretty worthless.

Apple's support has really fallen over the years, from being the gold standard, to tin crap. The agent's typical mantra is to not get in deep into your system problems and were it not for community forums and search engines, these solutions would remain hidden from us. A prime example of this, is the company in Massachusetts (I believe), who had contested Apple in their claim that the recovered, water damaged phone could not retrieve the photos. They actually BANNED the owner from the communities for daring to contradict them - YES BANNED!

I was able to get my @mail "tamed" again by deleting all the mail apps from my iOS and OS/X devices and reinstalling the apps, then setting up the accounts again. Please bear in mind that if you are concerned about a Gmail account, they no longer push @mail in RT (Real Time). Once you reset your accounts on the apps, it will take some time for your accounts to populate with the folders and @mail objects..

Since the last update email is not working correctly. My iPhone 11 is getting the incoming mail, but my iPad Pro isn’t syncing. The iPad shows an icon for new mail but doesn’t show up in all inboxes. However, if I go to the individual inbox, ea. iCloud or gmail, then I can see the new mail. Weird.

Yes. The notifications don’t line up. They are all out of sync and it takes way too long to actually retrieve the email into my inbox. I have a varying accounts and the issues are across all of them suggesting it’s a Mail issue. Waiting for that bug fix Apple people!

Apple - please fix your app asap.

Have had this email updating issue since going from 13.1.2 to 13.1.3 when it was made available. My btinternet mail account on PC is fine with up to date emails. Eventually after 24-48 hours my iphone gets mail, sometimes this is only a partial update, with say 20 new mails on the PC but only 11 on the iphone.

Another annoying feature on 13.1.3 is having "Yesterday" as when they came in on the iphone instead of the time, I have to go into the email and press "To:" name link for that.

Getting rid of the missed call highlight by having to make a call and cease it is another annoying feature/error of this version.

Does anyone know when the next version 13.1.4? to fix these will be available??
