My debit card says it's in wallet but it still won’t link to Apple Cash to receive it

Everytime I try to put in my debit card to transfer Apple Cash to my debit card it says card already in wallet( which it is) but it still won’t link to Apple Cash to receive it. It just says card already in wallet when I click the transfer button but doesn’t transfer the money.
