e-mail notification sound not working

I've recently updated to ios 13.1.2 and my e-mail audio notification sound has stopped working on my new iPhone 11 pro max. It was fine before this and I've checked all other sound notifications which are fine, I've reset the phone and done all the basic checks.

His this an update glitch?

I have the same issue. In fact I recently took it into an Apple store and the support staff told me it was an exchange error. I laughed because the problem started after I updated the phone. I've reset over and over and eventually given up. Download the Outlook app. Those come through but it's definitely an app you need to get used to.

this is not helpful. i have the same problem after updating to this new ios 13.1.2 i have several email accounts and just one the sound stopped working. and this is my most important email account which is the one i use for work. it'a an outlook account (microsoft). It's super annoying to be missing so many important emails by the sound of the notification not working, when all settings are correct and in place. And believe me, I've tried everything and nothing has worked.

I'll appreciate any assistance and support given to resolve this situation asap.

Thansk!!!!

Hello Coecludd,

This was an awful answer....It is NOT helpful at all.

BTW: My only problem is the SWOOSH audio, when sending emails. I always have to reset it in audio. Works first time, then quits afterwards, until I go back and redo it in Settings, Sounds & Haptics then Sent Mail. Even when I restart, it does not fix it. Anyone have this problem? This is the only audio I have problems with. The Swoosh for Sent Mail. I have had my new iPhone 11 Pro Max for about 6 weeks. Been doing this from the first day. (I send lots of emails via work).

I miss the confirming sent sound, called "swoosh" which is apple's default sound.

We've been seeing this issue for over 2 months and still no resolution. Since the update to 13.x, sound notification for email simply doesn't work. All other applications with sound notifications work just fine. We've tried every suggestion on every forum imaginable - from removing the iWatch, resetting the mail profile, changing the notification tone, switch from push to fetch... NOTHING has worked! We've gone so far as to replace the device with a new one from the Verizon store and still no sound notifications coming from email. Is anyone from Apple listening?
