how to find the serial number on an ipad that has an activation lock on it

I tried to sell my ipad to ItsWorthMore. I had it unlocked before I sent it. They now say it is locked and sent it back to me with an account assigned that IS NOT MINE! How can I tell what the serial number is on this locked ipad?
