I would like to import pics from an SD card to Photos on my iPad. How can this be done?

Plug the adapter in, open the photos app if it doesn’t do so on it’s own. You will see an option for import. Tap on that, the screen will populate with images from the card (if you have a large capacity memory card this may take a minute or two)

choose the ones you want to import and follow the prompts.

After they are imported you will be given the option to delete the photos off the card, so be careful of that.

The photos will be in a ‘last import’ folder of your device’s photos app
