i Phone 11 Pro - New phone asking for passcode

Dear all, I purchased a 1 phone 11 pro last week in USA (unlocked version) and brought to India. Now I am not able to open it, since it is asking passcode. I called apple store here and they informed that there is no passcode set by apple. Kindly give suggestions to solve this issue.

Forget the passcode screen Hi , I give this phone to my father…he forgot the passcode screen and he tried to open it a lot of times but the phone is blocked we are not in the same country I’m in Qatar and he’s in Morocco so how can I help him to fix it thank you..

Did you set up Face ID on the phone? If so, you needed to set a passcode also. The passcode is required for Face ID to work.

Thank you Lyssa. It is a brand new phone.

I am not able to set up the new phone. It is asking passcode even before I set up.
