Within mac 'Mail' from inbound emails when I reply the initial conversation is missing. How can this be solved?
Account: is Google Gmail
Mac Os: Majoave 10.14.6
Mail: 12.4
Driving me insane help would be hugely appreciated.

Sorry. I'm still not sure what the issue is. If you want all previous threads in a conversation included in a reply, I would use Forward all selected messages rather than Reply.
If that's not it, feel free to explain further.

When i receive an email and then select reply the original email conversation is missing. Example below, your email, hitting reply the original text is missing.
However in gmail and my phone i can see it.. SOoo oddd.
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
Next, assuming all your Mail is IMAP & not POP, highlight Inbox, from Mail's Mailbox menu choose Rebuild.
Got it. When you said a conversation that means something specific.
Check the settings in Mail > Preferences > Composing under Responding.
Does it work from Gmail's webmail?
Desktop & iPhone: I can see original email detail.
