I installed the new software iOS 13.1.2 but it doesn’t suit me. I want to downgrade my iPhone 8 software back to iOS 12.4.1

The new find my app doesn’t work for the need of helping a friend. When locating a lost device for a friend it asks for the two step authentication code which gets sent to the lost device. How can you locate the device if the code gets sent to that device?
