So today i went to iDigital store to repair my iPhone (screen replacement) because we in Israel don’t have an official Apple store, i got there knowing that screen replacement for iPhone X cost 279$ (970 ils) because I figured well if this iDigital store is the replacement for apple store in our country it’s gonna be the same price, well when i heard the number i kinda lost it, not to freak out guys the price for a screen replacement for iPhone X is 517$!!!!!!!!! Ohh Yes 517$!!!!!!!!! Double the price for what Apple charges.

let me know what you Apple community think and i hope some day Apple will do something about it maybe open an actual Apple store in Israel! I truly hope so.

There could be a few things at work here. One is that only a fraction of AASPs around the world have access to Apple's "Horizon Machines" that are supposed to be used after reassembly to check on mechanical integrity, display calibration, communications between the processor and biometrics, etc. In such as case, then the "repair" would be done as a full device replacement. That being said, I thought that they would typically set the price similar to that of an actual service.

You can't really go by how much a screen replacement costs in the US and then convert the currency, that isn't how it works. There is not a standard fee across the world based up US prices. Ask them at iDigital how much an out-of-warranty replacement is. And what was the retail cost of your phone when you purchased it?
