I am thinking about getting a watch with GPS only. Would I still be able to use the ECG app, fall detection and emergency SOS? Thanks

NOTE: ECG is only available in countries where the goverment health authorities have approved the ECG app.

And just to cover all my bases, Apple will not allow an Apple Watch purchased in a country that has not approved ECG to operating until that country approves the app, and if an Apple Watch from an approved country travels to a country that has not approved the ECG app, it will be disabled while in that country. It is a mind field if you travel or like to buy products outside you own country.
