scam

I received what has been reported as a scam in 2017. I get the apple webpage saying I have 3 Trojan viruses. The biggest problem is it keeps popping up about every 10 minutes. I'm worried I might inadvertently roll my cursor over something that gives someone access to my computer.

HOW DO I STOP THESE WEBPAGES FROM POPPING UP. I CAN'T USE THE WEB LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!!!

It's the same screen that was popping up in 2017 according to your communities site.

If the pop-up reloads, force quit Safari (command - option/alt - esc) and reopen with the shift key held down. If that doesn't work, disconnect from the Internet, go to Safari/History and delete the website. Quit and reopen with the shift key held down. Then reconnect to the Internet.

You may  have adware/malware installed. Try downloading this program which was written by Thomas R, a long time poster. The program will search for malware/adware. The program will do the work for you which makes it easy. It may be necessary to run more than one scan. After running the scans, restart the computer.
