I just wanted a quick question as to is there a good and safe cleaner out there to clean up my iMac for free? Or do I not need it. I used to have CC Cleaner and tried AVG Cleaner they seemed ok and helped out a little I just want to clean out hidden files that I no longer use. And is compatible with Mojave.

Stuff I installed a while ago and then uninstalled and just wanted to make sure all the info from those apps are gone completely Its 73 degrees here in northeast of USA.

Ok cool thanks cannot wait for the new one. I know it will take a while to update my iMac last one mojave took a long time maybe cause thee was a lot of people downloading at same time I do not know why it takes so long to update.
If your Mac is running well, I wouldn't give it a second thought. Generally any left over files from apps that have been deleted are only plist files which can do no harm. Do any of those files appear in your Etrecheck report? If they do then you can remove them if it makes you happy.
Do not use any third party app that claims to clean, protect, manage, boost performance, etc.
As I've told you, no "so-called" cleaners are needed. Leave hidden files alone, that's why they are hidden. What files do you feel need to be cleaned out?
So your saying there is no need correct? Just wondering when I had a PC had to have all that stuff.

Also any idea when Catalina coming out?
It is scheduled for some time this month.
Keep in mind that if you have any 32 bit apps on your computer they will no longer run once you install Catalina.

No they do not show up thee at all. so Thats what I will do leave well enough alone.
