Verizon is my carrier.Ordered iPhone 11 pro max from apple.Apple said it would work with the carrier..do i have to fool with sim cards or what?I never did before but i purchased from Verizon...

You will need a SIM card. If you specifically ordered a Verizon phone it will come with a SIM card; you just call Verizon to activate it on your account. If you bought an unlocked phone you will need a Verizon SIM. If your previous phone had a SIM you can just remove it from the old phone and put it in the new phone. Otherwise visit a Verizon corporate store or call Verizon and they will provide you with a SIM; the store will install it for you and activate it.
