Since upgrading my XS, it seems that the screen timeout/lock doesn't work intermittently. The screen remains always on and doesn't time out. I then have to reboot the phone and it starts working again. It seems like the issue happens when it's plugged in to be charged and the issue remains even after unplugging.
Has anyone seen this? Is there any other solution, other than rebooting?

Try adjusting the sleep time and see if this has any impact on the issue. You can adjust this in Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock.
If that doesn’t help, back up your iPhone and reinstall the latest update using the steps from these links:
