how do i change my mac screen saver back to its original black screen?

I had my screen saver as a clock for a while, and now I want to change it back to the original fade to black screen. I have looked at multiple articles online but none were helpful, how do I do this?

If you open System Preferences and then click on "Desktop & Screen Saver" and then "Screen Saver" tab -- in the list on the left now is many options -- the "Message" option shows an Apple Logo with the words "MacBook Pro" -- is that what you mean?

Did you have a perfectly black image that you specified as the Floating source option?

Here is a web page that describes how in detail: https://randocity.com/2017/02/18/how-to-setup-a-black-blank-screensaver-on-a-mac-or-windows-computer/comment-page-1/

Good luck...
