iPhone 8 Wifi greyed out – wifi works after restore to new iphone, but greyed out again after restore to my backup.

I tried all to fix it: resets network settings, restarts, switching airplane mode, and restore.

If I restore to a new iPhone – wifi works and all is ok
If I restore to my backup – wifi is greyed out but works with actual wifi (which iPhone connected during restoration process), If I leave signal of actual wifi I lost it and cant recconect anymore
If I restore to my friends backup – wifi works and all is ok
If I use backup from iP 8 to restore it to friends iPhone (SE) and then I make backup from iP SE and restore it to my iP8 – the same like in 2.
If I restore my backup to friends iP SE, wifi works and all is ok

So whats now? Hardware seems ok. Software ok. My backup is somehow corrupted?

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. I understand your iPhone only works if you restore it to factory settings. I’ll be happy to help with this.

It sounds like you’ve done some great isolation on this issue so far and it sounds like you’re correct. There is a big possibility that your backup has something in it that is causing this issue and you’ll want to keep your device in factory settings to avoid further issues. You should be able to sign back into iCloud and your other accounts and sync your contacts, notes, photos and any other info you sync with your accounts back over. Hi,

you are right. I released it yesterday. I lost all app and system settings and app data but after few hours I fixed it. You can spend this time by making money, some time with family, etc. So far I thought that iOS backups are "bulletproof". So I am disappointed.
