How do I get rid of spchlpr of my MacBook Air

I had 3 different malware reported in a pop up notification none of which i could get ride of. If you goggle the issue the advice is to download software i.e. spyhunter - its a scam. Just opened up the finder window, in the search field type the name of the malware (spchlpr) select and delete all the files returned in the search > empty trash. Once i did this the notifications went away. I restarted to make sure; problem solved.
