Sidecar error - Unable to Connect - A miscellaneous error occurred (-6709)

When I try to connect to either my Late 2015 27" iMac or my 2019 MacBook Air to my 6th Generation iPad using Sidecar, I get the following error.

Unable to Connect to "Miles' iPad"

A miscellaneous error occurred (-6709).

Any ideas?

I had this "A miscellaneous error occurred (-6709)" problem and it wouldn't go away until I enabled the iCloud Keychain on my ipad. Once enabled I was able to connect to the sidecar device.
