Screen recording not working.

I have turned screen recording on on my control centre on settings, the button for screen recording is there but doesn’t let me press it. When i do, nothing happens and no screen recording takes place. This has been going on for over a year.

I understand you're unable to record your screen. I'd be happy to provide information to help you troubleshoot this.


First, restart your iPhone: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Test to see if the issue continues after restarting. If not, check to make sure there are no restrictions enabled to prevent you from recording your screen:

Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

You can check if you have not allowed screen recording in Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Content Restrictions > Screen Recording.
