I just upgraded to Catalina now im trying to use Logic Pro X and and whenever I import any sort of audio the 1st small bit of music always gets messed up. Please let me know how to fix this. I have had issues importing mp3's as well as converting mp4's to audio files. Its like there is a little hiccup in the conversion proccess for the 1st half second of music every time.

I messed up by upgrading to Catalina too soon. So to anyone still having this issue that hasn't or doesn't plan to upgrade to 10.4.7(which supposedly fixes the bugs)...
If you still have GarageBand open it. If not, download it. It's free in the App Store. Start a new project in there. Add any/all audio file(s) you plan on using. Save the project. Open Logic, hit File, Open, then open that garage band project you just saved. Logic will save it as it's own project & the audio file will be there at the right pitch & tempo. 😉.

I upgraded to Catalina myself because my computer was bugging me to do it every day for a year
but I'm so mad at myself for doing it for this reason. Also the App Store doesn't work on Catalina
Many workarounds were posted in that discussion already.
Definitely pretty frustrated Apple hasn't continued to support Logic as a product.

Totally not the case, but I could see why you think that. That site/service specific export option was just the only thing I got to work, in fact the locked files didn’t work as well as I’d hoped & I had to convert .flac files to .wav. I saw the solution about .wav files but not any others , was hoping to find a solution for .mp3 files (perhaps it’s here & just wasn’t toward the top of the solutions)
I'm having the same issues. People are saying to revert back to OS X but I switched to Catalina because I purchased plug-ins and effects from "Waves" and they're starting to put all their stuff on Catalina. Without Catalina there go my Plug-ins. This is a big issue.
There were also problems with Logic bouncing a mix in Catalina beta.
Actually Logic Pro X 10.4.7 is the Catalina update, but there are lots of bugs in Catalina that I'm sure Apple will fix very soon.

I am the expert 4 :-) Audio files produced by Logic before are fine. Others are far too fast and cannot be tamed.
Not really amused, as this is not a complete exotic function.

Having this same exact issue with the imported audio not converting correctly and skipping through all the way. Any suggestions other than rolling back the OS to sierra?
I’m having the same problem with importing mp3s. I tried converting the mp3s to wav files and that will import correctly with no issues. Annoying? Yes, but it is a work around for now.
No still having the same issue with the new Catalina update.
