FCPX Export Master File (H264) - Can I rename .mov to .mp4

When selecting H264 as the Master File export option, it produces a video with .mov extension.

Can this safely be manually renamed to .mp4?

mov and mp4 are very similar but not exactly the same thing.

If you want to output an mp4 select Computer instead of Video and Audio in the Settings tab.
