3D touch hardware feature disabled in ios13

I have an old iphone 6s and a newer iphone XS Max. Both of these phones had 3D touch feature. However they do not seem to work anymore with IOS13. Instead of 3D touch, a haptic feedback is showing up and it sort of not working correctly. A slightly long press on the screen causes the “simulated” 3D touch to get activated and its quite annoying. Especially while performing a cut/copy/paste activity. I request apple to continue supporting 3D touch feature on older iphones instead of the haptic feedback.

Both 3D Touch and Haptic Touch should be on by default when updating to iOS 13. Apple now grouped 3D Touch and Haptic Touch into one on/off toggle in the accessibility settings, so you can't turn one or the other off independently (which should be changed). But 3D Touch is still there, it just feels weird.
