iPhone 11 Frustrating Set Up

Anyone else having trouble setting up their new iPhone 11? It started off smoothly, I followed the prompts. It was updating to ios13 and I left it be, 15 minutes in, I’m brought back to the beginning choosing which language I want. The first time I followed the set up I signed into my Apple ID fine, now it’s saying my sign in is incorrect when it’s not. I’ve changed the password. Now I’m stuck on ‘Setting up your Apple ID’ with the dreaded loading symbol.

I’ve upgraded from a 6s, and the transition from android at the time was simple. Now it’s just testing my patience!! What am I missing?

Multiple people have posted that the 'Setting up your Apple ID' process was very long.


Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.


Try a restart.


Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


Try a forced restart.


Reset Device


If necessary


Hard reset


Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.


Restore to Factory setting


Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup
