I dropped my left AirPod and it stopped working

hi so last night (10/8/19) I dropped my left AirPod (I lost the right one) last night and it stopped working. I used to be able to play/pause by double tapping and that stopped working and so did the ear detection. also, the case doesn’t even charge it anymore and I tried disconnecting Bluetooth and forgetting the device but now I can’t connect back. can someone please help me?

Hello, monse-c.

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

From what I understand is that since dropping the AirPod it hasn't been able to function correctly. I have some steps that can help you with this but since they were dropped, there may be possible damage. Try the steps listed in this article to reset your AirPod: If your left or right AirPod isn't working be sure to also clean them: clean your AirPods If possible try connecting your AirPod to a different device. If none of these steps helped, bring them into a nearby Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider: Find Locations

Cheers!
