Equaliser not working on OS Catalina (new music app)

Anyone else noticing their Equaliser doesn't work with the new Music app on OS Catalina? I have to open the Equaliser, turn it off and turn it back on again for it to work. As soon as the song changes, I have to do the same thing for it to work again.

See below pics, when the EQ is off there are no blue elements on the dials, as soon as I turn it off and on again it shows blue elements. Seems like it's a bug where the EQ is off until turned off and turned back on again, each and every time a song changes.

Open ''Music'' select song(s) right click select ''properties'' select ''options'' select mode of equlizer and click ''OK''.Now you can listen your songs in the selected mode.

I have this problem too!

Happy I came across this thread.

I was ready to reinstall Catalina from scratch.

I wonder when Apple will fix this bug.

Same here. The equalizer should stay in operation if the on box in the EQ window is ticked, not return to zero after ever song. This is really annoying.
