I’ve lost over 6k pics. Is there a way to get them back?

Received my new replacement IPad Air today. My other one has a busted screen and won’t turn on. The problem is I have a lot on the iPad and I’m told by Verizon rep that my iCloud was never setup therefore I’ve lost over 6k pics. Is there a way to get them back?

Then, there is no way then to retrieve these images, any longer.

You need to realise that mobile devices are mobile, miniature computers and ANYTHING bad can happen to ANY mobile or desktop computer and at any time, at any place, for any reason.

You should have been making sure/checking all the time you had this iPad, that you were performing regular, semi-regular backups of your important data stored on that iPad.

Data backups ensure/insure against damages or failures of any computing device.

It is too late for that for your current data, I'm afraid.

With your new iPad, you need to start backing up to places like Apple iCloud, iTunes on a real computer or true data storage/backup services/solutions, like Google Drive/Photos, Flickr ( for images only ), DropBox, BOX, Amazon cloud services, etc.

If these images are very important to you and you are willing/prepared to pay to get these images back, go online and looks up a really great third party Apple iDevice repair and recovery service in upper state NewYork, called iPad Rehab.

They might be able to help you.

Their services are not cheap, but if these photos/images are that important to you, they might be able to actually repair that iPad enough to retrieve the images stored on your damaged iPad.

They have a Website and phone number you can call and will help you to get your damaged iPad Air shipped to them to get worked on.

Be prepared to pay.

This is your only option, at this stage.
