Tap on "Trash," Edit>"Select All" (Upper Left hand corner of the screen)>Delete(Bottom right hand corner of the screen).
No, I don't use gmail. iCloud and two other IMAP accounts.
I can select any mailbox, "Edit" (Upper right-hand corner)>"Select All" (Upper left-hand corner)>"Delete" (Lower right-hand corner.
Since the update when you choose the select all it’ll only let you archive instead of delete. To make it delete all highlight them all with two-finger gesture and once all highlighted you still have the delete option on the lower right. Then you should be good.
Thank you. This worked but I have to say that, IMO, this is one of the most ridiculous changes Apple has made. Pointless.
Move mouse to the Trashcan, then CTRL- or RIGHT-click to Empty Trash. Or if the deleted messages are in Mail's trash, then select the Trash folder in the sidebar, select a message then press COMMAND-A to select all messages, the click on the empty trash icon in Mail's toolbar.
I don’t have the option: delete.
do you have a gmail account?
I’m trying to do it in my Iphone
