I want a newer ipad for work with a keyboard and pen for note taking and editing documents. I only need wi-fi, smaller storage capacity and dont want to spend too much.
I am an ea and i am joined to the hip with the i pad.

It sounds like you would be happiest with Apple's new iPad (7th generation). It works with Apple's Smart Keyboard and the Apple Pencil. It has a gorgeous 10.2-Inch display with fairly decent speakers. Some benefits of iPad in the workplace is that it now works with USB external storage (with the appropriate adapter) and shared network drives. You can also open multiple windows of the same application as so you could have multiple word processing documents open at once (or any other supported application).
