No.

See the note at the top of the Logitech Website link for the Crayon.

It is not up to Apple to make its iPad compatible with a Logitech product. Especially older model products. As indicated on their website, it is compatible with the iPad 2018 models, which are the models that use the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen. Obviously, this was a conscious decision from Logitech in the design of their device. If you wish to complain to someone, that would be Logitech.

Apple have created nothing in relation to the Logitech Crayon at all. It was entirely Logitechs decision to market the gray version exclusively on the Apple store.

Also, this is a user to user forum, you are not addressing Apple here directly, only other users like yourself.

Logitech is the maker of the Crayon. Only they can determine what it is compatible with. Apple has nothing to do with Logitech and their products or their compatibility.

Contact Logitech and whine to them.

Because of the change to the iPad's screen with the 120 Hz refresh rate in both the 2017 and 2018 iPad Pro models, there are not really any alternative, third party Bluetooth stylii that will work with these iPad models.

Unfortunately.

I have the very first 2015 iPad Pro and because it doesn't use a faster refresh rate screen, I have been able to use a third party, smart Bluetooth stylus for the past 3 years, or so, instead of the Apple Pencil.

No such luck with the 2017 and 2018 iPad Pros, I’m afraid.

The Apple Pencil rules on these model iPad Pro, unless you wish to go back to using certain types of more commonplace and cheaper, fine point tippee, battery supported capacitive stylii and using a special, non-body electrical conducting drawing/writing glove to isolate your hand/palm to br able to lay your palm/side of your hand on the iPad Pro’s screen, to write or draw, your options for smart, Bluetooth stylii are limited to none.

Sorry. It is what it is.

I am still not sure about it, tried to find an answer to it and if it changed because of iPadOS.

I contacted Logitech Chat Support, while they said what MichaelPM mentioned, some iPads are supported - see Logitech's or Michael's list - he can't exclude the possibility that this has now changed and it is in fact working - in other words: He doesn't know himself.

In addition, some people on Amazon reviews reported the same - sadly this isn't the most reliable source.

Dear Apple:

If there isn't a compatibility yet with the Logitech Crayon (with which you just created an exclusive Grey Version, hence you must have some love for it) I'd like to use MichaelPM's Imperative style to tell you:

WORK ON IT.
