Why didn’t they include ability to perform gestures with the Apple Pencil 1 or 2. They should utilized the opposite end (non writing end). Flip pencil and rounded end acts just like your finger. It happens so often your working away with pencil and want to multitask/bring up whatever, pencil in hand and I try the swipe gesture, only to remember, dam that feature that should be there. There are $30 stylists that can perform like that, for the price of the pencil it shout be able to do what any other stylist can do and more. Room for improvement on the Pencil 3.
