Ios 13.1.2 hotspot problem

I've been plagued by constant disconnect / hotspot failed to show up / detect by my in car android head unit after the latest 13.1.2 ios update on my Iphone 8 plus. It will take awhile (by constantly toggling hotspot on/off) until it can be detected and connected. However the connection will just drop after approximately 20 minutes. I will then need to repeat the process above again and again to get it connected.

meanwhile, my wife who is using iphone xs max is facing even worse experience when trying to connect to the in car android head unit after the update. The personal hotspot just won’t show up in 9/10 times. Even if it’s connected, it will drop after few minutes.

ps: both of us do not have any issue before the latest ios update.

Thanks for responding but I wonder if you understood the issue that i am facing. No issue with hotspot signal / connection until the latest ios 13.1.2 update. Just wonder if it is possible to “rollback” the ios update until Apple decided to address this issue?

by the way, me and my wife are driving different cars with the android head unit installed.
