SIMBL crashes since upgrading from Mojave to Catalina

Hello guys/girls,

so this is a dump of logs from system.log where SIMBL crashes multiple times a second. Is there any way to stop it from doing this? My cpu is constantly busy handling this.

I've removed it using

~/Library/Application Support/SIMBL
/Library/Application Support/SIMBL

after which i dont seem to get any more crashes from SIMBL as its not running anymore

To be honest, I don't even know which app installed SIMBL, but ill try to remove it and not use that app altogether

I believe the SIMBL stuff gets installed in /Library/Application Support. Depending on the sense of security humor within Catalina, you may or may not be able to manually remove the SIMBL crud.

Do you know what to do in this case? Should i uninstall the SIMBL agents? Will that impact any other part of my operating system if i do?

In my opinion, you shouldn't have SIMBL installed in the first place.

Your operating system will be much better off without that hack interfering in its operations.

Whatever software you installed that required hacking the OS to operate would be affected by you removing SIMBL.

SIMBL agents are likely 32-bit and have not been recommended for use with OS X or macOS since Snow Leopard. Catalina will have extreme prejudice with SIMBL agents.

Can't use SIMBL uninstaller as i believe it is based on 32-bit architecture :D
