How to change keyboard language?

Hello,

I have a problem with switcing language on my bluetooth keyboard. I use Logitech keyboard K480, and I already tried the thing with ctrl + space, and it doesn‘t work. In my country we have y and z switched; for making @, we use ctrl + V; and none of it works on my keyboard, even though it is written physically on the key. I already searched the internet, and saw that supposinlgy the F12 key is the one that switches language on this keyboard. Of course I tried to press it, but on my iPad that key redirects me on search. I am using iPad pro 9,7 inch WiFi.

I am really looking for help, as I would really like to use my keyboard normally.

Thanks for your help.

Go to settings > general > keyboard > hardware keyboard and tap over at the right edge. Choose the layout that fits your language (NOT "automatic").

What country/language are you talking about? That's really important info when you ask something like this.

Apple does not normally use ctrl for special characters, only Option and Option plus Shift. So for @ try Option V and Option Shift V. If they do not work try Shift 2 and Option Shift 2.

I have done as you said, and the keyboard on my iPad has now changed. But however, the bluetooth keyboard that I use, is still the same - Y and Z are still as they were, and I cannot get an @, no matter what I try.

I am talking about Slovenia. The keyboard was also bought in Slovenia and has typical letters written on keys, but they seem to be somehow “switched“. I don’t know.

I am also posting a picture of keyboard, that I am using. As you can see, there is Y and Z written on the same key; one for Slovenian keyboard, and another one for English one.
