Voicemail/Missed Call Icon won't go away

I'm having trouble clearing the little red missed call notification showing 2 missed calls/voicemails on my phone icon. They appeared when I updated to the newest version of iOS (13.1.2) and I haven't been able to remove them since. I've tried everything, including the suggestion to turn off badge notifications and restarting my phone and then turning badge notifications back on. I've deleted all missed calls/voicemails from my history and still it persists. Looking for help!

The only way that I have found to clear it is to actually call the number then hang up right away. This seems to be a bug that was introduced in the last update

i logged out of iCloud & back in trying to fix this problem after iOS 13.1.2 by 13.1.3 the problem still exists & new problems after logging out of iCloud & back in with photos major problems & contacts. These are problems never had before iOS 13 update. Apple isn’t addressing these issues at all. Totally annoying to have notifications for missed calls alert red dot with no missed calls after deleting the number & blocking it. With all the robots calling an iPhone phone number. No one wants to see notifications for calls they didn’t answer & blocked & deleted. Nothing is fixing this except turning off phone notifications. This happened with settings notifications after update was done red dot wouldn’t go away. I do not suggest logging out & back into iCloud unless you want more problems.

That might work for notifications not going away for phone calls. It’s not possible for settings notifications not going away after update when there are no more updates to be done. There is a flaw in iOS 13 and right now 13.2.3 has not fixed the notification issue. Never had to do these types of things before to fix notifications. I have in past turned off notifications for apps I find annoying notifying me about things I don’t care about. Phone calls, messages, settings update iOS are important and want those notifications to be accurate.
