Does Apple care+ allow me to walk into an apple store and not have to schedule an appointment?

No. You can go to the Apple store without an appointment but you'd have to wait in line to see if an opening occurs. It's best to make an appointment.


AppleCare+ covers two incidents of accidental damage and lowers the price on a multitude of repairs.

In countries with national phone support, AppleCare PLUS entitles you to call them for free for three years from purchase.


Apple has seen their Genius Bar flooded with non-Hardware issues, so they have erected screening questions and suggestions in front of it to nudge you toward the most appropriate solutions. Sometimes this is the Genius Bar, sometimes not.
